CIVIC Party, En Volá and Cali Terpenes come together for a Special Night
Months ago, the team at En Volá proposed a get together to participate in an event that was different to those usually held in the sector (fairs, cups etc.) but that had a lot of people from the sector in it, as well as members of Chilean administration, influencers and artists. The goal wasn’t just to enjoy a different type of event, it was to show part of society the togetherness that this community has and our goal of doing things the right way in the industry.
We started coming up with different options to surprise and astonish the senses of guests throughout the entire night.
Oculto Beer Garden, the Place
One of the most important factors was, without a doubt, the comfort and versatility of the place the event was being held. En Volá made the perfect choice; Oculto Beer Garden and their team were more than up to scratch.
This place doesn’t just have a wide range of drinks and food, they also have an amazing location and facilities that made the large event feel incredibly welcoming.
The night was full of Cali Terpenes and En Volá surprises – let’s have a look at the few secrets revealed on that magical night!
Weed-Smelling Bubbles?
Starting during the evening and on into the night we held different activities, including creating cannabis-scented bubbles.
A wile ago, our friend Simón from En Volá told us about this insane idea that had caused many fits of laughter during its creation, and it finally worked; the bubbles were falling all around and leaving behind a delicious Amnesia aroma thanks to the terpenes we used.
Terpy Munchies
We couldn’t not do it – we had to create delicious treats with terpenes for the occasion, making munchy time even more special.
Chef Johns Green and their team prepared an amazing dish of chocolates filled with dulce de leche using terpenes; they were an absolute delicacy and a success, guests kept coming back for more and more, inviting their friends to try the delicious bites of chocolate.
One of the most acclaimed comments was literally “it’s like eating a bud” – we’re so thankful for everybody’s kind reactions.
Alameda Beer Company on the Menu
Just in time! The team at Alameda Beer Company got hard to work weeks before the event to create their delicious best seller Cripi Hazy IPA with Blackberry Kush terpenes, and the new EnVolager beer using Girl Scout Cookies terpenes.
The best part? Guests could get this beer straight from the Oculto Beer Garden bar!
After trying both of them it’s really hard to say which was out favorite – we think they’re both amazing. What do you think?
Terpy Shots & Cocktails by Nina Giaconi
Have you seen any of the drinks with terpenes created by Nina Bartender? Another of the surprises that we prepped for that night was inviting Nina to prepare some of their famous cocktails form the En Volá, recreated as shots.
Another complete success, guests were coming over to try them all, testing the differences in aromatic intensities and flavors with each recipe, and learning more about the use of terpenes in beverages.
Plus, right before the party, the workers at the bar were given a course so that during the night, guests could order three cocktails with terpenes from Oculto Beeer Garden’s menu, which were also in En Volás recipe list.
